CleanTech's response to the 9/11 WTC disaster

Client: NYU Downtown Beekman Hospital
     
CleanTech responded with emergency help to 120 businesses and homes over a four month period. A prime example was a major downtown hospital facility, whose interior and exterior were covered with inches of powdered debris from the disaster. Having to continue service for all medical emergencies, they could not shut down. Our crews responded the day after 9/11, working around the clock non-stop for 48 hours to remove the contaminants, enabling the hospital to continue emergency services.

Problem:
Fire Damage

Client: Neil Simon Theater

CleanTech was notified of a backstage fire that spread smoke & soot throughout the entire theatre which was opening a new Broadway show. The show would close down permanently if the theatre could not re-open within three weeks. Insurance estimates for the cleaning & restoration required a minimum of five weeks. CleanTech was able to provide sufficient crews, equipment, and expertise to remove all soot and smoke odor from HVAC, ceilings, walls, carpeting, drapes and seats within two weeks.

Problem:
Arson to Sullivan County, New York Office Building
     

CleanTech responded with crew, equipment, and technology to return 300 County workers to their 90,000 square foot job site in one week.  Working in 100 degree temperature, the fire site was demolished and the remainder of the structure cleaned of soot and deodorized.  HVAC systems, electronics, and fabric furnishings were professionally cleaned and archived materials were removed for restoration.  After one week, the Court and Hall of Records were reopened, while the DMV and Department of Social Services were operating with full occupancy.

Hurricane Katrina
Clients:  Dozens of homeowners and business owners

Sections of Florida were devastated by the harsh hurricane season. CleanTech responded by sending our emergency response vehicles, along with hundreds of pieces of equipment and trained crews to help businesses, homeowners and apartment dwellers with water removal, drying, and mold remediation. The business people and Florida residents are now friends of CleanTech.
